Talya’s Save a Soul: Dog Shelter in Giza Egypt
Dog shelters, also known as animal shelters or rescue centers, have a rich history dating back several centuries. The concept of providing a safe haven for stray, abandoned, or neglected dogs emerged in response to the need for animal welfare and protection.
One of the earliest recorded instances of organized dog shelters can be traced back to the 19th century in Europe and the United States. These early shelters were primarily established to address the increasing stray dog population in urban areas and combat public health concerns.
